14-19 Silverado/Sierra – Tow Mirror – Dual Function Adapter Harness

Dual Function Adapter Harness that will transform how your amber running lights on your tow mirrors will behave!  With this adapter, you can have your amber lights dual function as a running light (park lamp) and as a turn signal (blinker).

This adapter is fully plug and play!  Simply install the adapter in between the mirror and the factory door harness.

NOTE:  THIS DOES REQUIRE THAT YOUR TRUCK EITHER CAME WITH GM FACTORY TOW MIRROS RPO CODE – DPN/DQS  FROM THE FACTORY OR THAT YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED A PROPER TOW MIRROR RETROFIT WHERE THE AMBER LIGHT IS OPERATING AS A RUNNING LAMP (PARK LAMP) AS GM INTENDED.  THIS ADAPTER WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER VARIATION. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH 1ST GEN DPN MIRRORS THAT DON’T HAVE THE AMBER RUNNING LIGHT.

I have 2 versions of this adapter based on how you want the amber light to behave.

Rev. 1 – Will slightly dim your amber light when it is on.  When the turn signal is used, the amber light will go full bright (like they do now) and will blink in sync with your front headlights.  The red blink turn signal in the glass will also blink in sync.

Rev. 2 – Will keep your amber light full bright when it is on.  Then, when the turn signal is used, the amber light turn off when blinker is on.  It will blink on/off, but will blink in an alternating sequence.  If you are in front of your truck looking at it while the turn signal is on – the amber light will be off when your headlight blink is on and vice/versa.
