2014 – 2019: DL8 – Tow Mirror Upgrade: DIY Kit

Bought this harness a couple months ago and it works FANTASTIC! I had the “sport” mirrors on my 2016 Silverado 1500 LT I had power adjust and that’s it on the mirrors. I bought this DIY harness and re wired to Phil’s specs and was able to add power fold on my tow mirrors (which requires a new button in the drivers side door that can be ordered and it’s a simple plug and play) turn signals, running lights, heated mirrors. The works! I also appreciated the extras he threw in about the headlight mods and was able to do the one where my fog lights automatically come on when my head lights come on. Overall great kit for someone who wants to do it themselves and I was able to ask for help when I needed it. Thanks again 2nd harness from Phil for me 1st was for the tri-fold power running boards, awesome as well!

The diagrams and wiring are right to the point and easy to install. Takes the guess work out and time to research which pin you need to connect to.

Follow his YouTube videos as well for how to get access to the wiring harness as that isn't in the diagram but he has a YouTube video showing every step how to get to it.

Simple and easy order process and shipping was quick as I was in Canada seen it in less than 7 days. ( a week )

Wired mine in took me about four hours to do both side and double check things over great buy would recommend to anyone and he’s gave great advice
