2019 – 2024 Silverado / Sierra – HUD Retrofit Harness

For those that want to add HUD (Heads Up Display) to your 2019 – 2024 Silverado / Sierra (T1XX), this is the harness you’ll need.

HUD is a feature that GM introduced into the higher trim options trucks.  HUD projects information you want to keep track of right onto your windshield in color.  This helps you keep you eyes on the road.

This is a comprehensive process to successfully retrofitting HUD to your Silverado / Sierra Truck. I opted the swap out the entire steel core dash tubing support to have the mounting points for the projector.

This product is just for the harness portion of the retrofit.

Parts List:

Prior to purchasing your cluster, confirm fitment with WAMS.

• Contact GM for specific part #s related to this upgrade. Parts listed below were for my 2021 Silverado LT 1500 Truck.

• HUD Windshield:  This is needed to eliminate the ghosting effect that occurs on a non “Laminated” windshield.

• Dash Board Panel Tie (Steel Tube Core) – Part # 84926264
• Dash Panels (NOTE: Front Windshield Defrost is different for HUD and Non-HUD Trucks)
  • Top Dash Panel – Part # 84553050
  • Top Dash Defroster Panel – Part # 84791932
• AC Ducts (NOTE: AC Ducts are different between for HUD and Non-HUD Trucks)
  • Passenger Right Side Duct – Part # 23393852
  • Driver Left Side Duct – Part # 23391609
  • Defrost Panels for the side windows are the same and no different between HUD and Non-HUD Trucks.

NOTE: For 2022.5 (Refresh trucks) and later (Global B System), there is a need to visit the dealer for additional programming. This IS a requirement disclosed by WAMS – http://www.WhiteAutoandMedia.com so be sure to visit their site to fully understand the requirements. Dealer visit is NOT necessary for 2019 – 2022 (Global A System).
